On Saturday, doors will open for conference participants at 8:30 a.m. All participants can park in the Inman Parking Garage (see the campus map) When you arrive to the 4th Floor of the Inman Health Sciences building, please check-in at the registration table to receive your credentials and goodie bag. The first session will begin at 9 a.m. and sessions will run all day until 4:45 p.m. Between each session, there will be time for networking between students and industry professionals. All of the event organizers are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!

After registering for the conference you will need to attend 2 panels in the morning to receive 1 credit. Attend 2 panels in the afternoon and receive another credit, for a total of 2 MBU 4000 credits.

Student Leadership Council will be hosting a one day Entertainment and Music Industry Conference called Best Job Ever on March 21st, 2009 at Belmont University. This conference will feature keynote speakers, panels, seminars, and workshops. Topics discussed will focus on current industry issues surrounding the future of the Entertainment and Music Business. The main goal for Best Job Ever is to inform students of the diverse jobs within the industry by inviting business professionals that belong to the Entertainment and Music Business to share their experiences in their respected fields. We expect approximately 150 students and industry guests to be in attendance. We also plan to broadcast parts of the workshop to our students in New York, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.
